Most golfers never re-grip their clubs with the average grip being over five years old. This is a huge equipment advantage most are simply ignoring. The Tour Wrap 2G provides a softer tackier feel designed for using a lighter grip without losing control. This advantage, however, comes at the loss of some feel and handling with sweaty or humid conditions. It never gets too wet here in Tucson (and I would never play in a storm and so dust is more of a concern) and just a wipe with a cloth magically return these to new condition. Golf Digest just rated these grips in this month's issue as the #1 best grip (moving up in their list over the years) - only after I bought them so I said it first (ha ha). Other tacky want-a-bees from LAMKIN, ACE, IOMIC, and WIN just can't compete. The only real alternatives IMHO include the very popular and recently upgraded after a decade Golf Pride New Decade MultiCompound Platinum Scarlett Standard Golf Grip Kit (13 Grips, Tape, Clamp) (amateurs say it's the best all around grip) and their Golf Pride Tour Velvet BCT Cord Grip Kit (13-Piece), White (the most widely used cord grip on tour). Both now use a brushed cotton cord (BCT) for good water management but with less wear and tear on both your hands and gloves. I had once tried an old Decade and they hurt my hands mommy (but I understand the new Platinums are much better). However, both cost more. Bottom line, if you don't need to deal with the wettest conditions (and I don't), these are the ones to get. I love them and remain glad I switched. Steel shafts are much more straight forward than graphite but in either case I would strongly suggest Googling instructions and talking to Golf Pride before attempting on your own.

Golf Pride makes an amazing product, and these grips are no exception. I put them on myself with no problem in less than two hours. They dried overnight and I played the next day. Love the feel and texture. I will be back to buy a new set next year for sure!
