Great product, but not meant for Q-lock cleats

Got this to replace cleats on my golf shoes and for a friend. I have a pair of Callaway golf shoes with circular cleats. This tool worked great on my shoes. No issues removing stubborn cleats that were really lodged into the shoes. The tool has pointed prongs that dig into the cleats making it easier to remove them.I agree with one of the other reviewers about installation, this isn't the perfect installation tool for new cleats, but it does the job, just takes a little more time that one would expect. The top part of the cleat that goes into the shoes is easy, it's the next layer that sits between this top part and bottom part (the part that sticks out) that is difficult to press into the shoe opening.The shoes didn't really work for my friend's Q-lock cleats. It is almost impossible to remove them with this tool. If you dig in really hard and force them out, they will eventually come out, but there is no way this can install new cleats. If you have Q-lock cleats, this is probably a better option: Champ Max Pro Spike Wrench. This one comes with different attachments so it works for all sorts of cleats.

Works like a charm

My spikes had been in a long time and were stuck with dirt and grit. I tried prying and twisting them out with a two-pronged spike tool, pliers, and screwdrivers, but no luck. I ordered this item, received it in a few days, got the spikes out with no trouble.

VERY HANDY

Finally!..... I've finally found a device that allows me to remove old golf "spikes" relatively easily. If you're at all like me, you leave the old ones in too long and likely have a heck of a time removing them. This unit makes the job much easier.
